A number of us gather regularly to prayer for Israel and the nations (in relation to Israel) because we believe that God will keep the oath and covenant promises He made with Abraham, Isaac & Jacob/Israel. (Genesis 12, 15, 17, 26, 28:13-17, 35:9-13, etc). Truly, with Paul, we believe they (the descendants of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob are beloved for the sake of the Patriarchs (Romans 11:28). So we choose to love that which God loves, and stand in prayer with Israel that so often stands alone among the nations (Numbers 23:9). With Samuel we would also say, "..as for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you (1 Samuel 12:23).
Romans 15:8-10 “Now I say that Jesus Christ has become a servant to the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made to the fathers, and that the Gentiles might glorify God for His mercy, as it is written: "For this reason I will confess to You among the Gentiles, And sing to Your name." And again he says: "Rejoice, O Gentiles, with His people!"
Do join us as we gather to pray and ask Father God for them, watching and praying also for the nations in their interaction with Israel. Want to know more? Contact John & Sal Hooper, 07891 555745, Email
